Summary
Fox-trot cancelling is a combination of the Fox-trot and Stutter Step advanced techniques. It is the act of interrupting the first few frames of any dash during a Fox-trot sequence with another input, usually another Fox-trot in the opposite direction (aka Extended Dash Dance), a Perfect Pivot, a regular Dash Dance, or a Smash attack (aka Kara Smash).

- Fox-trot in any direction
- Interrupt the beginning frames of one of the fox-trot dashes with any of the following inputs:
- A Fox-trot in the opposite direction (aka Extended Dash Dancing)
