Boosted Crescent Grab

Summary

This is the "boosted" version of the regular Crescent Grab, which effectively extends the reach of a grab performed out of a Moondash.

Requirements
  • Only effective for characters with a good Moondash (e.g., Captain Falcon)
How To Perform
  • Perform a Moondash
  • Just before the end of the Moondash animation, tap forward on the directional stick
  • Immediately follow with a grab

  • Surprise mixup
  • More effective range than regular Crescent Grab
  • Can become predictable/punishable if overused
  • Only useful for certain characters
