Toon Link is the diminutive cel-shaded green-garbed hero of Nintendo's 2002 open world seafaring action adventure title "The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker". In this game, Link crosses the Great Sea on the mysterious boat "The King of Red Lions" and with the help of Tetra and her band of pirates saves his kidnapped sister Aryll and acquires the power necessary to defeat the evil Ganon.
Toon Link first appeared in the Smash franchise as a fighter in "Super Smash Bros.: Brawl". He is voiced by Sachi Matsumoto. In Smash 4, Toon Link is a floaty middleweight fighter with strong zoning thanks to a variety of combo-setup projectiles for good KO potential.
