Lucina is the time-traveling swordswoman heroine of Intelligent Systems' 2012 Nintendo 3DS JRPG title "Fire Emblem Awakening". She is the daughter of Chrom, wielding the sword "Parallel Falchion" and bearing the "Brand of the Exalt" in her left eye. She assumes the guise of her legendary predecessor Hero King "Marth" in order to aid her father anonymously.
Lucina makes her debut as a Smash fighter in Smash 4. She is voiced by Laura Bailey. In Smash 4, Lucina is a floaty middleweight swordswoman clone of Marth with good hitbox disjoints for safe reach. Despite some lag and a poor grab game, Lucina has good power, speed and aerial mobility for approaches and neutral spacing. Unlike Marth's tipper sweetspot mechanic her attack power is distributed equally across her sword, giving her safer spacing, a less strict playstyle and trading earlier KO potential for more opponent damage throughout matches.
