Info
Jigglypuff is the puffy diva Pokemon that first debuted in Game Freak's 1996 Game Boy titles "Pokemon Red" & "Pokemon Blue". It is a Normal/Fairy type Pokemon evolved from Igglybuff that can be evolved into a Wigglytuff with a Moon Stone. Its singing resonates at frequencies matching brainwaves of those in a deep sleep, effectively lulling opponents to snooze for a few rounds. In the anime, Jigglypuff appears as a quirky wild Pokemon that follows Ash and his friends, humorously attempting in vain to perform its singing for the adoration of an appreciative audience only to ironically cause them to sleep, prompting the annoyed Jigglypuff to draw faces on its hapless victims with a marker.
Jigglypuff first appeared in the Smash franchise as a fighter in "Super Smash Bros.: Melee". It is voiced by Rachael Lillis. In Smash 4, Jigglypuff is a floaty lightweight with strong aerial mobility, edgeguarding and juggling abilities for a solid air game in exchange for a diminished ground game with limited reliable KO punishes, speed and grab combo conversions.
