Falco Picture

Falco Lombardi is the high-flying cocky ace pilot crew member of the 1993 Super Nintendo Entertainment System 3D rail shooter "Star Fox".  He joins Fox and the rest of the Star Fox team in saving the Lylat system from the evil plots of the mad scientist Andross.  Falco is a rude and arrogant hot-head, but he's nevertheless a skilled, competent compatriot and loyal ally.

Falco debuted in the Smash franchise in "Super Smash Bros.: Melee" as a slightly tweaked clone of Fox.  He is voiced by Mark Lund.  In Smash 4, Falco has average power, speed and projectiles, with various recovery options and a reflector useful against projectile opponents.  He is distinguished from Fox in that he has slightly slower ground speed but better jump and fastfall, placing a heavier emphasis on a vertical aerial combo juggling game than a horizontal grounded neutral play.
