Bayonetta is a stylish gun-wielding bullet witch from the 2009 third-person action adventure game of the same name. Caught between the forces of the Umbra and Lumen Sages, Bayonetta fights her way though hordes of angels and demons to uncover the mysteries of her forgotten past.
Smash 4 is Bayonetta's first appearance in the Smash franchise as a DLC character. She is voiced by Hellena Taylor. In Smash 4, Bayonetta is a light, quick, aerial combo-heavy fighter with great recovery, a strong counter and decent projectile play.
